Twisted:
Back to the Beatscapes.
Used Elastic Drums to create a beat, then cut out a small section, slowed it in TwistedWave, and looped it with AltiSpace. Then again with AltiSpace and AUFX:Dub. Then again with Altispace and Dedalus. Then again with Altispace, Dedalus and MuckRaker. I loaded them all into Auria for arranging and panning.
Next I added a file that I made by running the poem from Day 27 through Borderlands.
Then I jammed with a preset I made in Cyclop.
And a swelling pad I made in Addictive Synth.
The Video:
A series of images that I made using PicFrame and iColorama arranged in Pinnacle Studio.

Abstractions:
An Abstract Beatscape.
iMPC Pro for the drums recorded with Dedalus. I haven’t used iMPC Pro much and it seemed to glitch occasionally so I’m not sure if I’ll used it much. It’s got some great sounds tho.
It was a slow and almost abstract sounding beat, so I added two abstract sounding files I had prepared earlier: one from Borderlands Granular, and one from iDensity.
Video:
People have asked about the videos so I’ll start leaving notes about those too.
I made a series of pics in PicFrame, loaded those along with the song file into Pinnacle Studio (which is my main video app). Then it was just a case of arranging, adding some choice transitions here and there, adding the titles etc, and bob’s your proverbial.

The World Is Breathing:
An Ambient Beatscape today. With me reading a poem at the end 🙂
I found an old beat that I recorded in Feb, I don’t know what app I used. I cut out a small segment that I liked and looped it with Dedalus effecting it. Then I slowed it in TwistedWave (that old trick again).
I loaded that into Auria and jammed a baseline from iFretless Bass. Only a small segment of that was successful, so i cut that out and arranged it (and bits of it) along the timeline.
Next I jammed four different sounds from Addictive Synth. Did some rearranging. Then recorded myself reading an old poem that seemed to fit the mood.

Awaiting: Named for my lovely wife, confident, best friend, and muse Lene. Who is away for a few days.
A barebones Beatscape.
My first attempt at loading my own samples into a drum machine. This is Patterning, which I recently bought and have not yet fully explored. I trawled my files in Audioshare (recorded over the last 6 or 7 months), looking for bits to trim out. I loaded 15 or so into Patterning, built a drum kit, made a pattern, and jammed that into Audioshare.
Fun Fun Fun.
I’m looking forward to trying this with other apps.
PS All references to the soundtrack of Dead Man where purely accidental (Though I do love and recommend that).

Stepping Lightly Ain’t My Style:
Beatscape.
Nothing but drum app. A simple beat in Patterning, using Dj Puzzles’s Funk Step drum kit,
jammed into Audioshare using Dedalus, AUFX:Dub.and AUFX:Space.
Sometimes the simplest of tools is sufficient to tell your story.

What Winter Has Left Me:
A Beatscape with a gentle groove and some spoken word.
iDensity with AUFX:Dub, AUFX:Space, and Dedalus for the drone/soudscape.
Patterning for the drums. Two tracks using different kits, layered and panned.
iFretless Bass for the baseline.
I read a poem/lyrics straight into the iPad mike, with a few favourite quotes. For the vocals.
It felt great to being playing bass again. Must do more of that.
